Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
I use no cow's milk at all I am WAY to intolerant to lactose since my surgery.
What I want to know is if the mixing of hot and cold could do that.
Has anyone else had that experience?
I had soup this afternoon and that was fine, but had nothing else that was cold out of fear of that happening again.
Are you saying if you have arthritis, that you shouldn't have caffeine? I have never heard that.
I'm a coffee drinker, and I have osteoarthritis in knees, hip, back...but drink coffee. I am pre-op, and would like to find out.
Thanks,
Boo
I make mocha pro shakes, no coffee, brewed yet. I was a big fan of vreamer, and don't want to mourn that loss yet, so I avoid the coffee maker.
Try checking all the labels. Then do an experiment, drink the shake and ice water, if you still dump then you know temperature has nothing to do with it.
