On Wednesdays I have about an hours walk from work to SASS where I volunteer.... and then I catch the bus home from SASS about 8:30... Tonight I missed my bus!! Next one did not come till 9:30... so I started walking...
It takes me 3 different buses to get home, so there was no way I was walking the entire way... but I called my hubby. He's normally in bed by 8 or so b/c he gets up so early, but I knew he was at the school with our son for a function this evening so i was hopeful they were still out. And yep, he said they would head my way shortly... but its about a 20 min drive and they were not done at the school yet... so was going to be awhile.
So I just kept walking.... I walked for almost an hour total from the time I left SASS till the time they found me :)
What caught my attention was when they pulled up... yeah, it had been a long day and I was happy to see them, don't get me wrong... but I could have kept right on walking!! I was not hurting, or needing to sit down, nor had I spent the entire time wishing they would hurry up! In fact it was kind a like I had to see how far I could get before they showed up!! My hubby was surprised I had made it so far!
So.... I walked for about TWO hours today and played with babies at work for about 3 hours... what did you do for exercise? :) :)

I can walk up the grade into the administration building now without feeling the strain.
You are doing great. I knew you'd be a shining example!
