One of the biggest tricks he says can help your hair to grow is to lay on the bed and hang your head off the bed face to the ceiling this allows the blood to run to the head and gives the follicles the nutrition it truly needs. only do it for 5 minutes a day but he said it will make a huge difference in your growth.
He said the hair loss is do the the lack of protein at the beginning of the surgery but it all grows back. I saw him a few weeks ago and he showed me where i have lots of little sprouts of hair growing in :)
Overall, I have a very healthy diet... I might still eat too much at times, but its most often of good quality foods :) So, I think i am good there as I eat lots of veggies and protein, plus I take vitamins with iron...

Tornado, I think I'll try the head hanging thing... sounds logical! Kinda like a massage which brings circulation back to the head. Plus, even at preop, my hair just don't seem to get any longer... this might help!
