we got one and only used it once to my knowlege. It is a very simple device. We used the big blender more.

I did more digging on line... and ended up at Target and bought a Ninja Master Prep! According to on line it is much more durable and its really cool! It has blades at three levels vs. just the blades at the bottom of the blender....

Anyways! I have my mothers day present and am going to make myself a smoothie for breakfast tomorrow :) Can't wait to try it!

becca, I have both. Used my bullet to make babyfood for both of my kids. Great product. I use it now for my shakes - it's just easier to clean and be quick about it.

I swear by my NutriBullet the ideal product for shakes, smoothies and pureeing foods - wouldn't trade it in for anything - ideal for this stage of my post op diet. Very simple to use and clean.

I have a Magic bullet, but I like my ninja better, it blends smoothies better. I also have an ice crusher, its easier to get that smooth texture if you crush your ice first, and then blend it. You can buy an ice crusher at Walmart for about $15. Its weird I have a magic bullet, ninja and blender, I do like the small magic bullet for puree stuff as its really quick. The full size blender just sits on the shelf lol.

I found when using the Magic Bullet for protein drinks it froths a lot, the container looks like it holds about 16oz but when I blend a protein scoop and 8oz of liquid it will froth all the way up to the top so make sure the lid is on tight. I only use the 1 blade for puree stuff or even protein drinks, its nice to have the lids that cover though as you can just put the lid on it and directly into the fridge.

I think the ice shaver blade would be nice too, as I wouldn't have to crush my ice first, I don't have that blade. I used the bullet a lot in the puree stage, and when I am mixing protein powder with food.

So in my honest opinion if you are going to use this a lot for your diet I would get the 26 peice as it comes with an Ice Shaver Blade. (Looking at amazon right now). That blade alone is $15. so for the price difference you get a lot more parts with the 26 peice :shrug: .....Best Wishes

LOL! I've done that myself! I think I'll do fine with this Ninja one... I like the fact that it has 3 layers of blades.... My blender i have now just has the one little blade at the bottom and you have to stop and stir it all the time trying to get the chunks to go down... But I think this will be good for when we make salsa and stuff too. I already have an ice shaver thing for making snow cones, so I shouldn't have to worry about the ice thing... and I also have two ice trays that make the small, marble sized ice, which is perfect if i want to put ice in Ninja thing... It looks to have a bigger motor than the bullet... So that should help... And heck, if I find I still want the bullet, I have a Birthday in July! LOL! :):)

I have a bullet and it's served well over the years.

but if i could have the perfect blender i would buy a Vitamix. but i can't have the perfect blender because it's like 3 or 400 dollars!!!!

When I am at home I use my Vitamix. I bought it at Costco when they had a demonstration. However, it is expensive and a hassle to clean.
I had a bullet before, but it stopped working. The Ninja Master Prep sounds great. I am going to look into buying one for work. Happy Mother's Day to you.

I just bought a Magic Bullet this week. I must have confidence that I'm going to be having this surgery. lol Anyway, I didn't try it yet, but I am excited to do so.
