Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
What are you doing while you are in bed? Lots of possibilities: read books and magazines; knit, crochet, embroider; write letters; get Christmas cards ready to mail; if you have a laptop computer you can do Christmas shopping. My point is that it helps if you can stay busy.
This will soon be over and you will be back to your normal routine. Good luck.

prayin for ya
Believe me I UNDERSTAND I had a fracture to my RIGHT HIP and was stuck in bed for 5 MONTHS. DUE TO WEIGHT AND HEALING PROCESS.
You don't have that problem but find something else to occupy your mind so that the HEAD HUNGER doesn't take over.
Good luck to you! I hope you are better soon and can get out of the bed!
Sounds like you feel cheated, and you are acting that out on yourself! Chocolate relieved some of this negative emotional crap briefly, then just loaded more crap in your basket!
