ok I have been doing good on my diet pre-op surgery.This liver diet is something! Going from 3 lean meals a day no junk food! to full liquid diet not food for 2weeks OMG!!! Protein shakes jello broth and yogurt i pray that I can get thru these next two weeks. I understand no pain no gain but give me a break!

I had 2 weeks of it. It is hard but the benefits are sooooo worth it. My surgery went smoothly and I have had no real problems. I am not hungry now at all and it gets you ready for the liquid diet most of us are on after the surgery too. In the scheme of things, it was but a small step to one of the best things I have ever done.

I feel your pain! It sucked hardcore! I did not think I could do it! It is good though because it minimizes your risks during surgery.

Hang in there ----I ate about 50 million sugar free popsicles which helped me!
