So my surgery is exactly two weeks from tomorrow and I also start my liquid diet tomorrow.

I'm very confident that I can do this, but also have slight fears about missing food for the next two weeks (well three or four if you count after surgery).

Does anyone have any advice, tips or suggestions on how to not go crazy over the next two weeks??

I should mention that I really think I'm going to be alright since I'm so excited for the surgery, but I want to have a back up plan. LOL!

I wish I had some ideas to help you through.
For me, the liquid diet was the hardest part of the whole process.
My doctor finally caved and let me have celery and cucumber while i was on the liquid diet cause i couldn't handle the shakes (OPTIFAST was nasty to me) Since then however I have found much tastier shakes and they are not so bad anymore.

I am on day5 of my liquid diet and im finding it okay although the British one is a little different to the American liquid diet. I am allowed 1 weetabix or porridge 2 yoghurts and a can of soup per day I also have to drink 1 pint of milk. I must say I started it a couple of days before I should have and failed miserably but when the day came I had to start it I have done fine and it has not been bad at all. I wish you every sucess I have surgery 12th Oct.

SF Popsicles, SF jello, good protein shakes. I like apple juice. Broths too. Mind over matter. I had a Bariwise Meal Replacement shake in chocolate. Has 35 g protein and with crushed ice has a thicker texture. You can do this!

you can do this! i did mine 2 weeks prior. i could have 3 Dr Atkins shakes and 2 cups of leafy greens uncooked or 1 cup cooked twice per day, and a a T of ff Italian dressing. it was tough the first few days, but then got a lot easier.
