Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Grab your iPod and go for a walk or do something that you couldn't have done before.
Keep your head up..

So you feel blah. Can you think of something nice to do for yourself today? Nothing extravagant necessarily, maybe a new magazine or allowing yourself to watch a movie or take a nap, if that's appealing or different from what you usually do. Maybe call a friend and just chat a while.
Always, I feel better after working out...a walk, a dvd in your living room, or dancing to music....alone even! Consider moving around, but whatever you do, make it something you wouldn't normally do. It'll feel different, special in some way, and just feels different to your brain...and that equals a change in attitude.
When I am down.... I go ant try on new clothing! Its great to see yourself in a smaller size (and it will only get smaller!!! whoohoo!!)
take a nap, do something nice for yourself...have a spa service....ask someone to make you some soup.
good luck on your journey. it does get better but it is not a straight-line. 1 step forward...2 steps back..and sometiems hiccups along the way (literally)...
"Human progress does not move in a straight line. It is in a spiral. So, at amy given moment you could be moving backward, but you are still progressing."
Kinda abstract, I know, but true just the same. Hang in there. What I dresd the most about post-op is the emotional high/low game.
xoxoxo,

Remember that you ARE going to continue to lose weight, you ARE going to feel better both physically AND mentally and you ARE going to be sooo glad that you did this for yourself.
