It's Been Awhile

Hey guys what's going on? I know it has been a long time since I have posted but so much has been going on. I have been slacking off but decided that I have came way to far in my 3 years since surgery to back track now. So know I vow to check onto the site everyday just to get inspiration and see what's going on. With that said how have you been doing with your weight loss and how long has it been since your surgery and what's your stats?

As we become accustomed to life after surgery, it's really easy to slip back into pre-surgery behaviors. Really easy because we don't have to think about our bodies as much. Stress and old habits can seduce us back to the "dark side," Congrats on coming back to the group. I know that I say this a lot, but I also recommend that you keep a daily food diary. Get a smart phone app to make it easy. That one habit can go a long way to helping you stay on track and keep it real.

Oh you have reached year three! This is a crucial time where people can go either way - forward or backward. The fact that you are back means you are wanting to move forward. Good for you!

I'm 5 years out and slacked off on tracking for a while. What a difference it makes! I found the Lose It! app which has really helped me. I have been having a ball with life. I've gotten my bachelors degree, had my shoulder fixed, and have a new knee. I am experiencing a freedom in my body that I haven't had in a long time. I have also come to a deep peace that I am good enough.
