Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
You are doing great!
With all the obstacles you had, you are kicking butt!
The stalls happen! Don't give up or get to discouraged!
Change up your diet a bit, add different proteins and see what happens.
As far as the Splenda, can't say much, I use it in my coffee too!
Artificial sweeteners can mess up the way your body handles insulin. They have also been linked to an increased appetite (caffein is, too).
You could try dropping it for a week and see what happens.
If you are building muscle the weight loss on the scale will slow (or stop) but your body composition will be improving as your fat mass decreases and your muscle mass increases.

Glad you checked in! Happy that thing is gone! Bet it feels good, not to have it!
I also had a "stall", and just getting rid of a few carbs I was having, and upped my water more, and exercising, and now I lost 4 pounds in a day!
WE all have to just keep pushing forward.
Great to hear from you!
