ugh. so i have been expericencing some awful pain the past few days. turns out to be infection. of course i am in complete pannick. the lovely surgeon proceeded to drain it. yikes, that was more pain than the surgery! lol. well i got home and my temp went up. can win for losing around here. its gone down a bit but i am still monitoring it. just thought i would share my adventure.

Wendy, Sorry to hear things are going like this. I too had an infection but there was nothing to drain because it was way inside. I spent 3 days in the hospital and on some heavy duty antibiotics. IV was ok but when they released me I had to take this liquid stuff and I lost more wt from the diarehha then the surgrey.
Hang in there and keep the surgeon updated on any/all changes.

Yucky for you...I assume you are on antibiotics big time? If anything changes for the worse, temp goes up, etc. don't wonder about it, call the Dr or the ER.

This is not a negotiable, and make sure you rest and get LOTS of fluids! The weight is not an issue, until the infection is gone. Make that your primary concern...K?

my thoughts exactly. i am taking no risks with this. i am maintaining a regular temp now. i go to the doc in the morning
