Well, it's been 1 year and 7 months since my surgery and I am down 210 pounds so I currently weigh 225 pounds. My goal was 230 (from 435) so I passed my goal and I am still losing weight, albeit a lot slower now around a pound or two a month. I feel and look so much better now, and am glad I went through this surgery.

Now, the hard part has begun, maintenance. I should do all right with this, I have been through a lot and learned a lot about how to stay fit and keep the weight off. I know I will do just fine from here on. This journey has had it's ups and downs and is far from being over (in fact it will never end) but, I welcome the challenge and look forward to a long and healthy life.
