Great job, keep it up!! :-)
I just looked at your profile Kittylove9, we started at the exact same weight, and we are the same age. We have height differences, as I am 5'9" and my surgery was 2 days after yours.
How was the transition to full liquids? What are you eating? Oatmeal? Yogurt?
It's a rough road but it is SO worth the effort!
Congrats!! Looking forward to watching you shrink!!

I had only clears the next day in the hospital and was allowed to come home 2 days later starting full liquids. They are going great, just baby spoonfuls and sips. I'm not a fan of cream of rice so even though it's on my list, I skip that one. I do a protein shake for breakfast, water in between, fat free Activia for snack, water in between, fat free cream of chicken strained for lunch, water in between, unsweetened apple sauce or sugar free pudding for afternoon snack, water, protein shake for dinner, water, then popsicles or sugar free jello for evening snack. I have to stay on this till Wednesday when I see my surgeon and hopefully graduate to pureed. I'm starting to get so tired of it and really look forward to chewing a little! How are you doing?? What is your meal plan for the day??
I'm not getting in as much food as you are though. I did have some soup today and a little bit of yogurt but otherwise it has just been my shakes and water. I am satisfied with that so far. I did buy some oatmeal and will probably try that tomorrow.
I scrubbed floors today and vacuumed and did the laundry and was pretty tired when I was done but it sure felt good to accomplish something. We are still snowed in here in South Carolina, but hopefully back to work tomorrow.
In fact, I'm at week 5 and there are STILL times during the day where I am INCREDIBLY tired. Dunno what that's all about.
Your recovery is awesome!
