It appears I am 12 weeks out today. It seems like it has been much longer! I am down 79 lbs. Halfway to goal! I went to dog class tonight for the first time since before surgery. Some people did not even recognize me. My hair is short as well threw them off. Lol. My bmi has gone down considerably, and I am now just obese instead of morbidly obese. Something about that word just makes me cringe.

Some notes, good bad and ugly.

I am always freezing! I always ran hot before, now I can't get warm. Now my husband likes this side effect as it apparently makes me a little more cuddly than I have been for a while.

Trying to find food that works is exhausting. Nothing seems to settle right now.

I fit into a shirt today that I used to wear to the bar way back before husband and kids! Lol. So I am going vintage today. :) I am down in shirts from 3x to 1x and some lg shirts. Pants from 26 to 22. (My weight seems stuck to my rear, haha. I guess the next 80 comes from the hindquarters.

I learned that my mother freaks out when she cannot feed me. I spent 5 days with her last week and it just about killed her that she could not buy me food or fix me a meal. She was convinced I would starve at any moment.

Dog breath is the new norm. I can't brush my teeth enough!

Quest bars have 20 grms protein and go down well in tight tummies.

Aches and pains change daily with my changing physique. My chiro loves seeing me on a weekly basis so he can track my progress (and collect my fee)

My heart rate resting is down from 98 pre op to a typical 77 post. Blood
pressure way down.

It of course is the middle of the night and I am at work and bored to tears so I am rambling in a post for no reason other than to kill some time. I had so much fun working the dogs at class and I am a little wired. Bad thing to be when trapped in a little room on a slow night. .)
