I am currently 24 hours out of RNY. Things went good, but still in a lot of pain. Barium swallow is this morning then clear liquids. I can't wait to see how this goes.

Yay for you GG! Welcome to the losers bench! Glad you are doing well. You'll be sore for several days but it just keeps getting better from her. Sip, sip, walk, rest, repeat. :)

That barium thing is probably the worst but it does not last long.

Barium thing? It kind of amazes me on the differences of these surgeries.

Ugh - the barium drink just brought back memories. Yuk, but as cbarrack says - it doesn't last long and it's a milestone that gets you the heck out of the hospital. :-)
