I went to the dr's today,and met with the NP.
I don't know if you remember, but at my last appointment...I had gained weight, so they didn't set a surgery date.
I went in today, and although I didn't lose the total amount that I gained, I got my surgery date!!!
MY SURGERY IS ON OCTOBER 29TH!!!!
I met with my NUT, and she is starting me on a Partial Liquid Diet...on Monday.
I will be having Glucose Controlled Boost, 4-5 shakes a day, and a meal of protein (5 ounces), and 1-2 cups of veggies. Water, sugar free popsicles, sf jello, broth, crystal light in between. That's it.
I stay on that, until my next appointment on October 5th, and if everything is ok, than they will schedule my pre-op physical and labs.
It's really going to happen, I'm happy!

and above all else .........when you need to reach out for help weather it be someone in person with you or here you shout out when you need extra encouragement. .......so close you are in the warm up suit now....again woooooo hooooooo
Yes, but I gained so my NUT wanted to be sure that I lost the weight, so that I can KEEP my surgery date. She said the PA or NP, is tough, and she will cancel a surgery if you do not lose.
Not sure if they will let me go back on the regular diet leading up to my 2 week partial liquid prior to surgery. I will only have 10 days before I start the pre=op plan, so we'll see what she says when I go back on the 5th.
I am just looking at it as another way to boost my weight loss before surgery, then I won't have AS much to lose to reach my end goal!!
I'm sure i'll need support!! LOL!!
