Last night I weighed out 3 oz. of chicken for dinner along with some grilled onions. I was eating and then all of the sudden I realized I was just eating because there was food on my plate. I was full and it clicked in my head as soon as my pouch was full feeling I stopped eating pushed back from the table and threw the rest of the food away. It felt sooo good!

I was so proud of myself for resisting the urge to clean my plate. It has been a habit for years but I think I am breaking it!

Awesome! I had to try and break this habit too its stil hard because Im post-op but Im hoping I can break it like you've had what an accomplishment! Congrats to you!

Awsome! I had my surgery I think the same day as you (march 20) and I can only eat about 1-1 1/2 oz meat (protien) with a tbsp of veggies. I don't feel full right away but it catches up with me.

Awesome job! I have had that experience a few times and I'm starting to not feel guilty anymore. It's tough when you we're told for so long not to waste food. :)

I have done this many times and it feels great BUT I also feel bad at times because I feel like I waste SO much! Whenever I go out to eat unless it's Taco Bell, I usually just eat something my husband orders. LOL (I make him order chicken or smething I can eat).

Good for you!! last night at dinner I failed, I had an extra 1/2 ounce of chicken and wound up laying on the kitchen floor lol I need to learn to say NO!

Kudos to you!

I failed miserably last night with some SF Rice Pudding... I had a quarter cup and still felt hungry... After the first bite of the next 1/4, I was full... But I kept going until it was gone... Oh MY did my tummy hurt!
