I haven't been on this site for a very long time. I loved this site when I was geting ready for gastric bypass. There is so much support and although we are all different, reading what others are going through helped so much with my ownjournyey. I have not been able to burp in 2 years. Yesterday I burped in the car and it was great lol. Afer 2 years and 118 lbs gone my life has changed so much. No I didn't meet the prince on the white horse, but I did get to know myself better. I am strong and did this for myself. I am going on 60 omg. I am workng my daycare with 8 chlldren daily and I am now doing cateing on the weekends. I am very sore and tired after, but it has given me a new look at life. I wouldn't be here today if I wouldn't have gotten the surgery. There have been some really difficult times, but overall I would do it again in an instant.
All you newbies, keep strong, remember this will pass whatever it is and remember the outcome. I look at my grandchildren and can't believe have lost that much weigt. That really is amazing. Good luck everyone.
