Hey all! Sunday evening here in Oregon...and I am bored! My homework is caught up, my kitchen is clean and my laundry is done! :)

We had a healthy dinner and I made a no flour, no sugar, red kidney bean cake for my middle boys birthday (hes turning 25) for desert. It is so yummy!

Anyways... I am bored (did I say that already? LOL) and just thought i'd come here...and say hi to all my friends and see if any of you are still up! Being on the west coast, most of my on line friends have all gone to bed and I am still up... being bored! LOL! :)

BORED!!
I hear ya!!
Fractured ankle, can't drive, workout, etc ;(;(
New job in a week so staying off of ankle laying in bed trying not to think a out food :/
Now my weight loss will stall cause I'm sedentary

Soak in a warm bath infused with lavender and cammomile essential oils20- 30 drops each. It will relax and soothe then take a good book or a good man and go to the bedroom. The rest is up to you. ;-D d

Hi, Becca! I just went to that site and got the recipe. It looks wonderful! Can't wait to try it on my hubby. I made flourless PB cookies, I think the recipe is on eggface, and he found those absolutely the bomb. If I can make something chocolate and tasty... I may win him over yet! Actually, he has really enjoyed most of the new recipes I have brought home and tried on him. He had the lap band about 4 years ago, but didn't really embrace the lifestyle change. When I had the sleeve 6 months ago he said he was going to get serious about it. About 3 months ago he started making an effort and in the last month or so I have really seen him making some changes! Thank you for another great idea!

What kind of "sugar" did you use? Splenda for baking?

Glad to see I was not alone in my boredom! LOL!

The cake turned out fabulous!! Even my teenager loves it! :)

As for the sweetener, I used truvia, I find it works better than splenda for baking.

I even frosted it using low fat cream cheese, truvia, vanilla and a couple tablespoons of heaving whipping cream. For me, I am fine without frosting as it is rich enough, but for the fellas, they like the frosting as well.
