Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
I had a few stall periods. One time I had to actually up my caloric intake to begin loosing again. You may be burning more calories than you are taking in which will put your body in starvation mode.
You are probly past your "Honeymoon phase" now. I am at 10+ months out now and passed mine at 7 months. fortunately my goal is only 25 more lbs away.
You can still expect to lose 2 lbs a week, but you'll have to work at it. exercise and watching your food intake.
Anyway, I bounce. My weight has bounced 10 lbs up and down 2 times, Maybe 3 since November 15th. I don't really think this qualifies as weight "gain" because it falls back off by itself. I think it is "water" weight from too much sodium, or something.
If you are following your program, you should be fine. change up your exercise, and the weight should turn itself around! It will just be slower.
God Bless!
