I had NO energy for about a month, slept a lot, took naps during the day. I was off work for six weeks (doable because I had insurance). I was still pretty tired when I went back to work, went to bed early each night. I think it was around 8 weeks PO when I started to have mega energy.

Remember, you just had major surgery, and your body is going to expend a lot of energy first in healing itself and second in learning how its new plumbing configuration works.

I felt finally pretty back to normal at three months post op. My energy level now is fine and I am about seven months out. I slept a lot the first three months. You will get more energy as your body adjusts and you learn how to eat and drink. Best of luck.

I'm still waiting and I'm just over 2 months out.

But I have extenuating circumstances so my exhaustion isn't caused by my surgery. I just thought that losing weight would help more than it has so far.

5.5 Months Post Op and it took me a Very Long time to feel Non Fatigued. Literally for about 3months out. Each person has a different time frame as some things can contribute along the way. You are VERY EARLY on so yours is probably just recent surgery adjustments. But Lack of Water, Lack of Enough Protein, Lack of Vitamins, etc can also cause Tiredness and Fatigue...so follow the Program as best you can. Rachel

I am 8 days post op. No energy and the drain BURNS like crazy. They changed my meds to liquid tylenol 3 which I think they mixed upwith just really thick water. My drain comes out monday...not soon enough! I also have issues with protein intake as I just can't seem to have enough room for everything (water protein vitamins pain meds etc). If you would like msg me! Our surgeries were so darn close I'd like to know how you're doing!

Took me about 8 weeks, use this time to heal. The first week SUCKS but the rest is totally worth it!! hang in there xoxox
