Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
My thyroid has been low for years and I am on synthroid for that. I do go to an endocrinologist for that but I think my WLS doctor will check it too.
Thanks everyone!
When they got it figured out, and put me on Iron supplements (both prescription AND over the counter daily) I started to feel less tired.
I still nap every day, but it's much better :)
I am getting as much protein as I can get in. I usually range between 60-80 grams a day. Some days I might only get 55 grams but most days it is between 60-80. My doctor wants me to get 80 grams but I find that really hard just because I can't fit that much food in during one day.
I am just tired of feeling so worn out all the time. I am 12 weeks out and I just feel like I should start feeling better at this point.
