Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. I just keep plugging along. My O2 levels are better, i had pfts last week they are better and i was able to walk the furthest during my walking test at National Jewish also. An Extra 150 feet more so i was thrilled, especially since no hard effort put into it and no pain from it as there has been before :)

Not much to report from here. Made my goal on my one year surgiversary and have lost an additional 5 pounds. I consider myself officially in maintenance. The five were over a three month period, so things have quieted on the losing front. I'm waiting for March 29th to arrive, as I'll be having my plastic surgery to complete the journey. Right now, I'm not being very patient about the wait!
Blessings!
