Hello all,
The part of this journey I find the hardest, is the head work! I know I am not alone in this. One thing I've been working on that was long past due, was to take things to the next level in overcoming my food/eating disorder.
It is one thing (and a good thing, don't get me wrong!) to make a list of things to do when you want to eat... ya know, go for a walk, take a bath, etc etc... Its another level to figure out WHAT is eating at me that makes me want to eat when I'm not in need of fuel.
I am finding that it is about having an unmet need. Sometimes that need is boredom and that is when my list of things comes in handy. Often, it is MUCH MORE than that!
I've spend too many years ignoring and stuffing my needs that I don't even know how to recognize what they are anymore. Well, I am on a mission to change that!
