The day you get approved and your surgery date is the date I think we all get really scared on.......but also the most exciting day!

it is a lot scarier then it needs to be.....best thing most of us have ever done!

being a little scared means you take it seriously. good.

prepare, ask lots of questions, do your homework and be kind to yourself.

I am 4 weeks post surgery and I remember so vividly being where you are...just remember it took alot for you to get to the point you are at rite now..and it took alot of strength and courage to make this decision....you know this is a life changing one.. one that will give you a tool to help you become much healthier...you are on your way...always keep your mind strong and focused as to why you made this decision and know that perhaps the first few days may be a bit tough as with any surgery..but it is so worth it..I am already down 20 pounds and feel so much better already.....your in my thoughts..best of luck.....

You are a little further than I am, I have my first real appointment on Monday. From what I hear everyone is scared but all seem to be very happy they had the surgery.
Congrats on getting this far and I will pray you hear from the insurance company soon.

November 2, 2010... My Rebirthday.

I was so excited when the surgeon's office called to say that they had insurance approval...I felt like I had won the lottery!

we were all scared at some point.. But it will be great and so worth it, your almost there..
