Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Hope it is easily rectified,

I am also 1 1/2 years out, and have been dealing with this too recently. I immediately checked the protein and am well within that 60-70 range, but have a thinning issue in the front...I thankfully had a thick head of hair, so it's just noticeable to me mostly there. But it's hard to hide there, too.
I had cut back on my B-12 to once every other week, as my B-12 levels were through the roof. Supposedly that isn't a bad thing, but even my surgeon suggested I cut back. Lately I've wondered if it's dropped maybe, so I'm back up to once a week, and am calling my nutritionist Monday to check in on this. Might be an idea for you too.
