So I had my blood drawn today to find out what's going on with the dizziness. I hope it isnt anything big if it is anything. I am still trying to excersize a little.

I had a hard day today. My friend that had surgery very close after me came into work today and was rejoicing about her 120 lb weight loss. While I am very happy for her, here I go comparing myself to her and feeling inadequate. I then tell my mom that I am feeling bad and she was all like, you just need to work harder. *sigh* I know I make mistakes and that I need to work harder but I really just needed her support at that time.

I still haven't heard from the college yet about my financial aid.

I am just having a rough day.

Sorry but just needed to vent.

You have been doing great .. I'm sorry your mom wasn't responsive the way you needed her to be.. I pray your blood work comes back good... and it helps you to feel better about your success :)

Moms can be that way sometimes. Everyone is different and our bodies metabolism is different. I was reading online about these sisters who both weighed 324 lbs pounds got surgery the same day but a year later one of them has last 151 lbs while the other only lost 96 lbs.
The weight is just a number on a scale the real achievement is the health and life you have because of the surgery.

I'm in college my self and my financial aid officer is so busy because of the new school year. It took her three weeks to answer some questions i had.

Amy, I am so sorry you are still struggling... Please don't compare yourself to others, that will only make you crazy...

You have had a lot of challenges.... And you are still here going strong.. That means a lot...

HOping your blood work results will help them figure out what is going on with you.

Don't bum about your friend, or your Mom. I saw my Mom today, and took her for something to eat thru the drive thru at Dunkin Donuts. I said how about we stop at Dunkin? She said, "YOU CAN'T HAVE THAT!!! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE ON YOUR PARTIAL LIQUID DIET"! lol!....I SAID, "mom, i'm not going to...i'm getting YOU something...She said, "oh..."

Mom's are just Mom's...so take it with a grain of salt.

Hang in there, and know we're here for you! You're doing so wonderful, and i'm really proud of all the work you have accomplished, and all the weight you lost! You're my inspiration!!

Amy, you are doing great! We can't compare our journey with another's, we are all different. I know I am guilty of doing this as well. I'm losing slowly but steady. I was just thinking that before I started this wls journey I would have given anything to lose even 10 lbs! Hope your blood work comes back with some answers. You arent still on BP meds are you?

Amy you are doing just fine. I know you we're bummed about your mom, all I can say is try to appreciate her anyway. My mom isn't with me any more and I I would give knots anything to have her even telling me what to do one more time. As far as financial aid goes, be the squeaky wheel and check frequently that you have done everything you need to. Everything will work out when it is supposed to. :-)

I just remembered something I read before my surgery. A lot of vitamins don't have much copper in them. Copper is something our bodies don't absorb well any more. Check your vitamins and see how much you are getting and ask your doc if that could be contributing. Also, do a search and see if the info matches any of your symptoms.
