Low iron and I am already taking chewable iron. I don't get that, but explains why I am tired and dragging.
I started losing my hair in handfuls and the Dr said up the protien. She wants me between 80 and 100, closer to 100 if possible. I agree, it is hard to do.
Hang in there. At least now you know and can fix it.
Congratulations on the GOOD parts. :-)
My mistake with the iron was that I was taking a pill that was coated. The nurse practitioner said that since my digestive tract is shorter now that my body doesn't have enough time to dissolve the coating and then absorb the iron before it is out of my system. I got a chewable iron now and it seems to make a difference. I am starting to not feel so tired.
