Sorry I've been MIA for a while. I wouldn't have gotten through the first two months without this group. I'm 19 weeks out. Down 57 lbs. Went a little crazy buying clothes either on sale or consignment, but it still adds up. Top went from 2x to large. Bottom from 22/24 to 18.

Very happy with results. I need to excercise more and now that it's not 90+ degrees everyday, my walking has increased. I've missed you all. I won't stay away again.

Excellent point about going overboard on the shopping. I'm taking a bunch of my pre-surgery clothes to consignment this weekend and the remainder to a women's halfway house. Share the wealth!

Be sure to keep one or two fat clothing items to compare to your new skinny clothes! I would only buy a few outfits at a time since I shrank through the sizes so fast.

I am new-I have 4 dr appts this month with Swedish Hospital. I hope to have my surgery next month but until my first appt-I don't know how fast this stuff works. I am also a clothes/shopaholic. I am big at the top 22-24 and small in the bottom-14-16 (with elastic waist) I hope to lose 80-90 lbs and hope I still won't look like an apple with licorice legs when I am done

Lol Karen! Welcome and Congratulations on choosing health! The process is different for everyone because different insurance and programs have different requirements. There will be hoops to jump through. Would you please introduce yourself in a new post so we can all greet you properly?

Great job, so proud of you. I'm 6 yrs post-op and fighting to keep my weight off. I've gained 30 pounds and looking at getting back focused on me and taking care of me, instead of everyone else
