Hey everyone!

I could really use your prayers right now. I am going in for an upper GI today at 2:30. Over the past week I have been able to eat less and less. I have not been throwing up so at first I thought I was doing something wrong. But the last few days have been super challenging for me. I called my surgeon this morning and he scheduled me for an upper GI. He wants to check and see if I have any blockages or if I have developed a stricture.

I will let everyone know what is going on when I find out something. Thanks in advance for your prayers!

Well I don't know anything yet. The radiologist had to read the films from the upper GI and then call my surgeon then my surgeon will call me.

The upper GI was horrible. I had to drink way more of the contrast than I did when I had my first one. The taste was horrible and it BURNED going down. Then on the way home I got turned around and got lost. When I finally got back on the right highway I had to pull off and stop my car so I could get sick. I spent 30 minutes in this random Chinese Buffet parking lot yakking. I'm sure that was great for their business! LOL

Now I'm back on liquids. Which is fine right now because all foods hurt me. I'll post when I know more about my tests. Thanks for the encouraging words everybody!

Sorry that you're going through this. I went through the same thing. If you have a stricture the surgeon can dilate you and have you feeling better in no time. Prayers are with you.
