I called my insurance lady with my surgeon to make sure all my stuff had been sent off to insurance and guess what.....NO it had not. Still waiting on the psych lady's papers. I saw her over 6 freakin weeks ago! WTH? Hopefully they call me today to tell me they have it all and it's off for approval. That sets me back another 2 weeks.

Wow...

It's really upsetting how doctors can be so "lazy" for lack of a better word when it's your life in their hands. I hope this gets resolved quickly!!!

As someone who works with doctors, I know how frustrating it can be! Make sure you keep an active role in what is going on! Sorry that you got sent back, but hopefully you are on your way now! (:

Frustrating I know.. trust me.. two weeks before my surgery I called my ins and my clinic forget to send everything in to get it auth'd. (new gal , didnt know what she was doing) but I stayed on top of it, and they got it all taken care of..
it will all be good. : )

WOW - I waited 4 weeks for my psych eval papers to get to my surgeon's office and I thought THAT was a long time!!! :( I'm really sorry you've this setback to deal with! Hope everything goes smoothly from here on out!!!

I went through the same thing with my psych. Had to call and email to get her to send the farkin paperwork. They KNOW why you are seeing them and that time is of the essence. Makes no sense why they aren't always on top of things.

I also stayed on top of every appt and called my coordinator as I left each one of them. She was great and followed up if she didnt hear back after a week. In the end, everything got there in time and surgery happened as planned.

They called me back today and said everything is ready and being sent off. Yay! I'd be doin a happy dance if I had one :-)
