One thing that really helped was to drink as much water as possible. If I didn't drink enough water, I actually had stomach pains, but staying filled up with water in between my liquid "meals" helped a lot. I lived "meal" to "meal" and focused on getting many glasses of water in, and getting to the ladies nearly as often. LOL
The liquid diet was the hardest part of the whole journey for me, but one of the most important parts.
Keep this in mind, you are setting your doctor and body up for the safest possible option. The smaller your liver, the safer and faster the surgery, better opportunity for success, and quicker and more comfortable recovery. Short term pain for long term gain!!!
Smaller liver..... safer.
You can do this, live moment to moment, and keep your long term health goals in your heart.
