I had a gallbladder attack around 2 this morning and boy does it hurt! Was told to go to urgent care because my dr wouldn't be able to see me today. I now have an ultrasound set up but it's not until December 2nd. Gallstones have put me in the ER a few times but I was pregnant so they never took out my gallbladder. I did get a prescription for pain meds and hopefully I can get them picked up soon!
Anyways....I'm still waiting on insurance approval for my RNY and if I haven't gotten it by the time they send me to see the surgeon about my gallbladder do you think they would push it through faster so I can have them both done at the same time? I don't want to have 2 surgeries within a month of each other if I don't have to. At the same time I don't want to live with this pain for longer than I have to.

In our Post Hospital they take the gallbladder out and appendix. all at the same time as surgery. Saves time later in life and bad exoeriences
