Remember a couple of weeks ago how I said I have two friends who have generously shared their wardrobe with me until my weight stabilizes? One of them is a concert pianist and expert knitter, and the other is an expert seamstress and quilter, so you can imagine how nice their clothing is. Over the years, as I'd gotten bigger I steered away from the beautiful silk and sequined dressed I wore to perform and got more into jeans and T-shirts for every day, not wearing dresses unless I had a gig somewhere.
Last weekend I was playing at my church gig. After the service, one of the sopranos in the choir came up to me and said she just had to tell me how wonderful I was looking, and that she noticed I'd been dressing SO much nicer in the last couple of weeks, especially complimenting me on the black peachskin slacks I was wearing with a dark teal long-sleeved sweater that had some delicate beading around the neckline, and the gold jewelry I was wearing.
(Pssst...those are my friends' clothes!!! LOLOLOLOL)

My mom was here from Iowa for Christmas and she said she wouldn't have recognized me. She knew I had lost weight but I wouldn't send her any pictures of my weight loss. It was priceless to see her reaction.
Keep up the good work. I too love dressing better now that I have weight off and am in regular sizes.
