Finding positive in the negative

Some of you may know that I've been having a tough time with a relationship lately so I did some retail therapy and that really made me feel more positive about myself. I bought 3 pairs of jeans size 20 down from size 26/28. They fit perfect and I got them for $7.00 each. Then I went to check out some bras and I was able to purchase a regular bra instead of having to go to the plus size section. That fits perfect also. So, although I feel like crying because of the broken relationship, but I'm really excited about the smaller sizes and feeling of accomplishment.

Wahoo! Retail therapy like you did it sounds like loads of fun!! It must be really awesome to be so much smaller. Hope the "other" stuff starts looking up for you.

Retail therapy? Now there's a concept. Sounds very healthy actually. I have been known to go for Barnes & Noble therapy on occasion..

Jerry, I did spend a lot of time in the book area, but just didn't find anything that I wanted to purchase at the time. I love Barnes and Noble too.

good for you. Retail therapy has been good for me too, but be careful soon you will find that everything you bought is too big. I also started out as a size 28 or larger and shrunk to a 14 within a year or so.

Congratulations!!! I just did some retail shopping myself and it does make you feel better. Especially getting smaller sizes!!!! Keep it up and have fun!

I LOVE RETAIL THERAPY!
I just did some myself.
I went to Winners and scored a few really nice tops in 1XL and even :) XL for 10 bucks each!
I got a few pair of really nice dark boot cut jeans (16-18) at Wally World (Walmart) for 10 bucks each.
Awesome shoes on sale at Payless and although I am kind of ashamed to admit it... I scored some really nice pricer looking jewelry sets at the dollar store.
Wow I feel like 52.99!

I think thats awesome an therapy on 2 levels, I am sure you had experiences in the past where you would end up leaving a store pracically in tears cause you couldn't find something for an event... SO now you can find clothes easier and it helps you forget about the ex!
