Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
You've already taken the first step; recognizing you need to change things up. Logging your food and getting to the gym is a great way to re-boot your program, and I'll bet you start seeing the benefits soon.
If your depression is more than a passing thing, I would bring it up with your doctor. Clinical depression is a disease that can be dangerous if left untreated, and it can effect your weight. If you don't have medical depression, you may benefit from a support group; Overeaters Anonymous, WLS support groups, even Weight Watchers.
Getting support, along with your gym time and getting back on track food wise, I'm sure you'll start seeing what you want for results!!
You can do this, and we're here to cheer you on and celebrate when you succeed. Take care and keep in touch!
Nothing to lose but weight! :)
I have gained about 30 pounds myself and am 2 years and a little post op. So don't feel all alone. We got to get back with the program. Not Failures!
Good luck to you -- you CAN do it! You deserve it!
