Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. I have felt that uncomfortableness youre speaking of...Made sure I never visited that again:)
Carrying the 1/4 cup measuring cup sounds like an idea, though. I may do just that!
Just nasty, gross.......chills!!!

As for portions eating out, I take what I think I can eat, then eat about half. I'll wait a bit to see how that feels, then maybe eat a few bites more, but usually not. Certain servers have gotten so used to me that they automatically bring a box with my food.
I have only eating out once at Panera last Sat. and had the lf chicken noodle soup. I only ate about 1/4 of it and didn't eat anything else and it was plenty.
At home I try to stop before I feel full if that makes sense. I haven't gotten the foamies yet and hope not too! I would rather stop than foam!
