Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
I get up at 5am take the dogs out, feed them, then eat breakfast and then walk to my dvd. I really like the dvd and now that I have been seeing more about Zumba I am going to see what is out there I can buy to do at home. I have seen the tv commercials for the Zumba set but want to just buy one dvd first to see if I can even do it or handle the movements. I have bad knees and have had back surgery in the past so it depends on what the moves are.
My walking dvd uses the resistance bands the last 1/4 of the walk. I really like the walking dvd and have tried to do it for the last couple years. I need to get back into doing it at work on my lunch hour also. I think doing the walking energizes me and also helps my knees not to hurt. Glad you are enjoying the walking to dvd and have a little buddie to workout with. My dogs just look at me every morning and wondering what the heck I'm doing then fall back to sleep in their dog beds! :)
