Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Maybe something like that might help for you ? Hang in there.
Have you tried reading any of Geneen Roth's books on emotional eating? They helped me understand what was happening and how to start dealing with it (I don't think we are ever "cured").

I'm two years PO now, and I've gained 10 lb. from stress eating. I'm working on getting back in gear and taking it off again.
The hardest part of this GBS journey is not the surgery, it's learning new ways of dealing with our emotions. For me, that means allowing myself to be aware of my emotions as they are occurring rather than stuffing them.
Hang in there. You will get better at this the more you work it. It's a learning curve, but at some point, it becomes second nature. :)
