Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Are you able to sit down to eat or are you eating on the go at work?
Shelley :o)
Cottage cheese?
Greek yogurt?
Mini baby belle cheese?
I find dairy is least likely to make me barf or dump.
I too am always on the go. I pack myself greek yogurt, instant oatmeal (kashi, has 6grams protein), protein shake, mixed raw nuts..
Do you like frittata?
Eggs (I use egg beaters), cheese, meat, whatever leftovers I have in frig :) Put it in like a pie pan and bake... Slice it up and stick in baggies. I personally love it cold!
Would be high protein and if you can tolerate eggs, I would think a possible easy eat...?
Here is a link to some recipes. I morph mine to make it low fat/calorie as desired. It's also one of those things I dump leftovers into... but being preop, I do not have to be as careful.
