I had horribly dry skin in the first six months after surgery. What I found worked best for me was baby oil. I really slathered it on after my showers. In between showers, I'd use Nivea Skin Firming Lotion as needed for comfort. I also take biotin, a water-soluble B vitamin that supports skin, nails and hair. I was taking 5 mg. a day. Recently, I upped it to 5 mg. twice a day because my nails are so thin and brittle. Give those a try, and good luck.

I personally use Argon oil and at 57 my face is back to looking 40 at ten months out. my old friends that saw me last in the summer all one by one comment on how vibrent and dewy i look.

No you have to order it on line and i never really had any wrinkles but i did have a case of diabetic flaky skin that actually peeled off my eyebrows first week after i came home from the hosp.

I am under 5 a1c so no i am in remission. of diabetis. So this may be why.

I use to use emu oil, another one i like is nivia cream.. and then almond oil which you can get inexpensive i n the health food section.

Any wrinkles i had are completly gone gone gone and my face is thin as i lost 100. lbs. Unusual Yes but i must be doing something right.

I think you will find as your body calms your skin will as well but i would protect it with a good moisturiser.

I also at 57 moisurize my tummy and legs. My tummy doesn't seem to be bagging so much and my legs are firming up more then i thought they would. My bat wings well...those are a diffrent story.

Vits , protien, water and exersize and a moiturizer for the body will do wonders for your soul.

My skin and hair are both very dry. Thank the Lord that my hair has finally stopped falling out, but the texture is very dry and brittle. I have tried everything, to no avail. I hope this is not how things will be from now on. :(
