I am 4 months out and have always been able to eat well.
However I can never seem to eat as well in the morning.
Breakfast is usually just a few bites so I can swallow my pills and then I am stuffed.
Late in the evening is a different story
Last night I made chili cheese nachos (my favorite) for supper.
I was really suprised at how much I ate which I am sure was over a cup.
This morning I dipped in for breakfast and could only eat 2 bites?
It has been suggested to me that the pouch rests and shrinks overnight but expands in the day.
Does anyone have and thoughts or information on this?

I to believe it shrinks but don't know for sure. You eat nachos. l didn't know you could eat nachos after surg. I am 3.5 months out. What kind do you eat?

Well I am probably not supposed to eat the nacho part but I do use whole wheat chips.
I mostly eat the chili and cheese on top with one or two chips.

Hi I just had my surgery 8 weeks ago. And I also can eat more now then before. I eat a little then stop I graze all day. I cannot sit and eat a real meal.
i have been stuck on my weight for weeks now I feel that I have been losing inches not pounds.

I hear that the pouch rest at night and its hard to get it going in the morning. my husband who is 15 months out still eats a late breakfast because of it but its not as bad as it used to be...like it is for me now, I usually just drink something for breakfast and then eat a snack around 10 or so

I usually eat a bite or 2 or... have my protien shake.
It's not because of lack of appetite but thats just all I can eat in the AM.
My pouch goes into full swing by about 2 pm.
By later at night it's like it's fully expanded and I can eat more than I should.
I was just wondering why.

i never feel good in the A.M. either. i feel like i have morning sickness. i thought it was meds or low blood sugar but they are fine. i have been getting up extra early for work which i don't like.. does an one know if this goes away after a time? i am 7 wks out.... mary

My Nut recently suggested that I get my snacks in because I was feeling hungry in the afternoon and evening. They suggested adding 2 snack one in the am and one in the afternoon.
