They follow IRS statues for reimburseable medical expenses. Go to the IRS website they will have the list of things that are covered there.
If it is not medically neccessary it is not covered. Even over the counter stuff like tylenol and antacids have to have a dr. note now. This is new it did not used to be that way. Used to be able to turn in receipts for asprin and such.
Go figure...

With mine I need a letter from my doctor stating it is medically necessary and a diagnosis.
Great savings because it is $460 year and paying that with pre-tax money is GREAT!
I also pay for my son's optometrist exam and for his glasses with it. All co-pays, my surgeon's fee. I love it.
At my work our FSA runs from June 1 to May 31, instead of by the calendar year.
When i purchased my vitamins from my surgeons office they were covered under my flexible spending account...however after my surgery I could not tolerate the protein supplements that they were selling and this became an issue for me. Do cover yourself and get a note from your doctor just incase you need it.
