I have had mine since Christmas and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I wear it all the time except in the shower. It does an excellent job of tracking steps, activity minutes, sleep (interesting), and stairs. I also enter my food and water on there but I will say their log of food is rather limited so I end up inputing a lot of information and saving it to my favorites. I also track my weight, blood pressure, and heart rates on there. Love it. Hope you do too.

There is also a Gastric Bypass Group on the Fitbit that you can join to keep you motivated. The leader is just incredible.

My good friend uses one. She puts it in her bra and it works great. I'm seriously thinking about getting one because I know I need to increase my activity!

I wore mine today and I love it as well. I have to be careful not to get obsessed about the activity part of it but it is so nice to use as a way to gauge just about everything. It helps me to know that I am eating enough and how much I need to add for my activity level. I sat down at my computer to write a work report and my e-mail popped up telling me that I got 2 5000 step badges...and I had not done anything to it...the computer just read it off my wrist...now that is efficient. I have had to enter in most of my foods as well but once they are there I can just grab them out of my favorites. I highly recommend one of these to everyone!!

Can you explain to me what a fitbit force is?

I have been wanting a fitness tracker but do you know of any that are waterproof? For swimming too?

The Fitbit Force is a tracker that you wear on your wrist. Available at most sporting goods stores and online. It isn't cheap at $129.99 but I got mine for 99.99 on sale. It is water resistant but not waterproof...aka no swimming.

The Fitbit Flex IS waterproof from what I understand. It is also a wrist tracker. I believe it can be worn swimming.

I have the fitbit flex and love it. It is water proof and can be worn swimming up to a certain depth. I don't remember what it was, I just remember that it was deeper than I would ever go, lol. I like to set alarms on it to remind me to take my vitamins. It vibrates a little and is always on my wrist so I never forget!
As stated in a few of the other posts the Fitbit Force is only water resistant and cannot be worn while swimming. This website might help:

Thanks Shawsa and Holly! I just ordered a Fitbit flex online and am so excited for it to ship :) The force may be a bit better but I really need it for swimming. I am a fish :) A large fish. Not for long though. :)
