Tonight I had cinnamon applesauce and cream of chicken soup. It was good and filling. I am branching out and trying new things that I would have never tried pre op. I cant wait till I am done with the pureed food stage. I need to chew chew chew.

There is a certain satisfaction in actually being able to chew. Makes you feel more like you are really eating. And it will come in time :0)

Girl...been there and certainly UNDERSTAND! After being on Clear Liquids...going into Full Liquids was like HEAVEN ON EARTH. Just to taste the Salty, Meaty Flavor of the Cream of Chicken Soup had me licking the bowl when it was finished, LOL. We've all been there. Just wait till the next stage...you'll want to SLAP somebody as you add flavorish taste back. Rachel

I hated the pureed stage. I would have stayed on liquids if you had let me. :) Your doing great - keep trying new things - never know what you are going to come across that you will like now. Keep exploring and learning. Your doing great.

I totally agree that chewing brings more satisfaction. I have'nt been able to chew for about 8 yrs do to my Severe TMJ (15 jaw surgeries)
I think that the surgery also awakens our taste buds for awhile any way. I thought everything tasted better post op than pre op. I could taste more of the undercurrents and flavors going thru the food.
