I think what you're feeling is normal. It happened to me as well and I think I posted something like "What Have I Done?" on here. You just have to remember that you're still only one week out of a MAJOR surgery. I'm not a doctor though so I'm glad you're talking with him about it too. But I also just absolutely hated the week to two weeks after surgery because of those reasons. I couldn't lift my arms long enough to put my hair up and walking between rooms felt like walking 5 miles and I was in a lot of pain. But I promise that it will get better! And soon you will start to feel somewhat normal again. And you will start to see the pounds melt away :) I'm on my fourth week post surgery and I feel normal again. But keep your head up! Get lots of rest and let yourself be weak and heal :)

Remember, you just had major surgery. It will take around 6 weeks to fully heal. You are thirsty because of the anesthetic. I used a small one oz pill cup and constantly sipped water. Sip is the key. Do not drink, sip! Unless your doctor says different, the light headed and dizzy might be coming from dehydration. Sip! Since you’ve just had major surgery, weakness is just part of healing. Again, it takes about 6 weeks to fully heal. You will have more energy days and less energy days. The key is to listen to your body, rest, sip, walk, repeat.

Sip, sip. Walk, walk. Rest. Repeat!!

You went through so much to have the surgery... give it time. The first 4 weeks are the hardest. Hang in there! It's so worth it! I promise!!

Thanks to all who responded, well I went for my fist check up one week later and Dr, sent me to ER and I got admitted for a week very dehydrated and after a week they think I have colitis, not good.
other then that doing good 3 weeks out.
