I use my fitness pal, have used lose it in the past... both are good! I've also just used a little notebook. The ones about the size of a deck of cards so I could easily carry it with me. :)
The on line apps are a hassle at first because you have to look everything up till it starts remembering your most common meals, but when you do it on paper, you have to look up calories, etc, which is also a hassle at first.
Both are a process... but in time, it gets much easier! :)
as for my notebook method i put date then the meal then next line the weight or measurement then what it is food wise on the right side i made a small column for fluids easier to track. under each meal i recorded how i felt physically my nausea level for me but you could put like lonely sad happy see if you can touch on intake vs mood
