Suregery was Monday and I just came home today and I'm feeling very much so under the weather, but happy to be home. The pain I'm feeling is incredible, but getting better day by day. From what everyone was saying, their pain wasn't that bad, so I wasn't expecting this.

I think I'm regretting this, but only temporarily because of the pain. I have been feeling better with each passing day..

Back to my sip sip sip and walk walk walk.

Hang in there it gets better. I had problems with pain also some people do and some dont alot depends on how much tugging and pulling they did on you. If you think of everything they do through those small cuts its no wonder it hurts.

Welcome home! This is fleeting! I'm so happy
For you! I'm day 13 and I am feeling so much better. Keep your chin up - I keep reminding myself this is just a drop in the hat compared to the new healthy life we have ahead of us. By day 5 I was feeling much better. Hug!

It does get better!!!!! I didn't have a lot of pain. but instead I deal with a complete intolerance to protein shakes! The one thing that is supposed to be a the primary part of my diet makes me sick! I am 2 weeks post-op so I am just starting to be able to eat again. Everyone is so different! Before you know it you will be back to your activities again and you will feel so much better. Hang in there! :~)

Glad you're home and OK. It does get better. I am coming up on 8 months next week and don't remember much of the first week at all. Probably due to the anesthesia leftovers, but my hubby says more likely old age. :)

Also had problems with my lungs and that's still hanging around. Tightness and trouble breathing even though my ox levels were good. It hurts so bad to cough!!!

Glad you're okay and back home. I also had quite a bit of pain and totally regretted the surgery for about the first two weeks. I know you read the posts here, and I know you know it gets better. :) Welcome to the other side! (Use a pillow on your abdomen when you cough!)

I'm glad you're home. The pain really does get better - I'm 17 days out. Just take care of yourself & rest when you need to.

I am on day7 and it does get better. It seems like, for me, the 4th day was the first day I felt like "okay, I can do this." so, hang in and stay in touch. Be well.
