I don't really understand the sugar/diabetes thing, I never had to live with it. But I thought I read somewhere that protein levels your blood sugar out more consistently then carbs do?!!
Can somebody explain?
As far as dairy causing constipation...Not a clue! it used to keep me regular, but I can't get in enough now...

I know about the protein for keeping the sugar levels but for some reason it was not helping. I now eat a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast and have some pepperoni and I am getting 26 grams of protein and some carbs. I have added fruit for a snack and it all seems to be leveling off.
I can so agree about the gas from the milk products but the constipation I can do without. I take mirralax daily and fiber source 3x aday just to stay regular.
