I am new to this group...I had the sleeve surgery in March 2016, followed by multiple surgeries for continued complications....long story short, I literally have NO stomach and have a J-Tube for nutrition. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone on here have a feeding tube or did have a feeding tube post any weight loss surgery? This has significantly changed my life and am definitely in need of support!

That’s awful that you’ve had such complications. I don’t know anyone on this group who had complications like yours. I do know one person who went way below healthy weight and couldn’t gain back. They wanted to put a feeding tube into her but I don’t know how it turned out. I do know she is still around. Even though this group is slow since the website “upgrade” we are still here for you. Hello! I'm so sorry to hear about your struggle.
I wanted to reach out because my mother in law is essentially going through the same thing right now. She had her original bypass surgery in 2000 I believe, and she had reversal surgery last year. Since then she has had surgery after surgery. One complication after another. She is currently on a pic line and receiving antibiotics multiple times a day. She is off work, because she isn't able to work with the latest surgery she had done. I think she may be a good person for you to discuss your case with, and possibly vent with.

She is old school and doesn't know how to use the computer for personal stuff well. She does have email though so I can get her email up and working so she can talk. I lost my son at 19 weeks pregnant and used this website and am now best friends with the girl I met on here and we comfort each other. I'm not having the exact same problem as you but I've had complications. I developed a motility disorder in my esophagus from the sleeve surgery. Because of this I needed to have another surgery called a heller myotomy. I also developed severe acid reflux so I had a third surgery called a fundoplasty with plication in an attempt to help my Gerd. It did not help. So now I'm getting ready to have bypass. Four surgeries in two years in addition to five endoscopies, two upper GI 's, manometry testing, bravo testing, two Botox injections, and a gastric emptying study test. I've been through hell and I'm scared beyond words to have gastric bypass surgery. I can definitely sympathize. ☹️
